No end of choice
There’s no doubt, however, that our part of the Lake District opens up a whole range of wonderful possibilities for our visitors, whether you’re arriving alone, with a partner or bringing the family. When we recommend a walk – and our reception staff are delighted to offer suggestions – you’ll find it’s already been done by members of the hotel staff. We know the area well and will be able to give you useful advice.

Local attractions
We’re very fortunate to be on the doorstep of Fell Foot Park – a National Trust country park which offers access to the shores of Lake Windermere. Stop off for a picnic, hire a rowing boat or simply admire the wonderful seasonal flowers. A new adventure playground has recently been introduced for children.

We’re also very close to the home of children’s author Beatrix Potter and the official World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is just a hop, skip and a jump away at Bowness.
