Our Lake District Wedding Venue is lucky enough to be situated in the Lake District with stunning surroundings in all seasons – come rain or shine (or snow!) we guarantee a gorgeous wedding with beautifully set event spaces and impressive backdrops both inside and around the hotel grounds.

In Spring and Summer the grounds come alive and there is no other way of describing it other than absolutely breathtaking. Sunny weather allows for drinks and canapes to be enjoyed on the lawn in front of the river, soaking up the sun with the drinks of your choice – perhaps a refreshing gin, an ice cold beer or a timeless glass of fizz!

For us, food is at the heart of every celebration with friends and family, but that doesn’t have to mean a traditional wedding breakfast. We cater for all tastes, kicking off with canapes, peaking with the main meal and finishing strong with evening buffets and munchies (vital fuel for dancing the night away).

We have delicious sample menus available for a traditional three course sit-down meal, however we are happy to discuss any specific requests you may have for your reception at our Lake District wedding venue.

Our wedding venue is located within our spa hotel. Our idyllic location is a serene setting surrounded by calming nature, glacial ribbon lakes and a mountainous backdrop, making it one of the best places to celebrate your love and your marriage.

The wedding venue is located on the southern tip of Lake Windermere, next to the River Leven at Newby Bridge.
