Paddleboard Competition

Terms & Conditions: 

Please note this competition has now closed, the winner has been drawn and notified. 

This competition will run until the 22nd March 2024.

• The competition is for 2 boards hired out from the Swan Hotel marina for up to 2 hours. This does not include an Instructor out on the water with you.
• The winner will also receive lunch at The Swan Inn with an allocation of £20 spend per head (max 2 people, although guests are welcome to join you), drinks not included.
• 2 boards can be allocated to one of the following options:2 x Adults
  1 Adult + 1 Child aged 8+ who is confident to have their own board and able to swim
  2 Adults + 1 Child aged 5-10 yrs sat on the front of one or each of the adult boards. (Dogs are also allowed at the front of an adult board, but dog buoyancy aids are not provided.)
• A maximum of 1 additional board may be added if a family with 2 children aged 8+ wish to paddle with an adult on individual boards. This is subject to availability when booking your slot with Paddleboard The Lakes.
• The winning participants can be beginner paddlers, but must be able to swim unaided.
• All paddle equipment is provided, along with buoyancy aids that must be worn at all times. A safety & skills briefing will be given before you head out onto the water.
• Wetsuits are available, but limited to a first-come first-serve basis on the day of the activity. Please see Paddleboard The Lakes website for their FAQs page on what to bring and wear.
• 2 Adults cannot share 1 board due to weight capacity.
• The paddleboard hire is weather permitting. If Paddleboard The Lakes deem it unsafe for the activity to go ahead as planned, a credit note will be issued and you will be given the chance to re-arrange your booking.
