Brisk winter walks, a mulled wine by a roaring fire, sumptuous spa treatments… Each of our three cottages can sleep up to 8 (maximum 6 adults).

We also have the special 'Love Nest' which is custom-built for 2 people to enjoy.

Over the festive period, all our nests will be a minimum of a 3-night stay. This will be from the 18th December until the 2nd January.

After a day exploring the beautiful countryside, there's nothing quite like kicking off your walking boots and cosying up on the sofa with a glass of wine and a board game.

Our contemporary, craftsman built, luxury holiday cottages are located within the grounds of the hotel. We have acres of space for you to explore with plenty of scenic walks right on our doorstep. And all the amenities of our hotel at your fingertips. Book a table for lunch or dinner and let us take care of the cooking and washing-up! Or better still, we can even deliver room service straight to your cottage.

Each cottage (or nests as we like to call them!) is a ‘New England’ inspired Instagram delight. Fresh and airy, log burners, alfresco fireplaces and Egyptian cotton sheets. Luxury bathrooms and hardwood kitchens. Not to mention the views!

All cottages have central heating and fully equipped kitchen with range cookers, fridge freezers, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryers, iron & ironing boards. There is also a supply of tea towels, oven gloves and a full log basket.

We understand that in these times of great uncertainty your attitude to getting away and or your circumstances may change so you are free to cancel or move your booking up to 48hrs prior to arrival. If you can't visit within 48hrs, due to a COVID-19 related circumstance, then we will happily move your booking to another available date.. Lush weekend away

"Beautiful location and lush accommodation, stayed in the Nest Dormouse which was stunning, impressive accommodation and exceptionally spacious. Warm welcome with bread, lemon cake and biscuits also had fresh eggs, milk, tea & coffee all waiting for us. Facilities were fab, swimming pool, sauna and steam room. We had dinner in hotel restaurant both nice and quality was perfect. Would definitely recommend for short break."

You could potter around all day

"Almost a mini-resort hotel; you could potter around all day enjoying its pool and sauna, mini Espa-spa, walks from the front door and drinks on the riverbank-terrace while watching activity in the nearby marina. For children, there's an adventure playground and nature trail plus indoor playroom with lilac pool table, games and toys. Packed lunches, secure bike storage and clothes-drying facilities are provided for the energetic. The place buzzes with young, cheery staff (most locally born) always eager to help."

"Wonderful hotel, faultless! The accommodation had everything and more, from washer/dryer, dishwasher, beautiful kitchen/dining area/lounge, log burner, including one outside on the patio. The bedrooms were lovely, each room with en suite. Shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, hand wash and hand lotion all included. Sonos sound system with fab tv in lounge area. PlayStation available too! Welcome goodies included, fresh bread, cheese, eggs, jam and milk. We had our breakfasts & evening meals in the main hotel, perfect food, helpful and pleasant staff in lovely surroundings."
