At The Swan Hotel & Spa, we have put together a collection of world-class foods, created beautifully with locally sourced ingredients from the heart of the Lake District.
With the range of dining options we have across our luxury Hotel, we are more than sure that you’ll find something to tickle your fancy.
Whether you’re looking for a freshly baked baguette on the terrace, a delicious oven baked pizza or something a little more indulgent from our Swan Inn menu, you can enjoy it al-fresco on our beautiful riverside terrace!
Our Terrace is now open for dining, food can be ordered at The Swan Inn bar (but remember your table number)!
Please note, we do not take bookings for our Terrace tables, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Food from The Swan Inn menu is served daily on the Terrace until 5pm. After that time you can order pizza from our Dude’s Dough pizza van.
Opening times for the van are as follows:
Thursday and Friday – 5pm – 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 12pm – 9pm
During half term:
Thursday and Friday – 12pm – 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 12pm – 9pm

Afternoon tea on the terrace
From delicious savoury bites to sweet treats, join us for a quintessentially British Afternoon Tea, served daily from 12pm-5pm, best paired with a freshly brewed pot of tea, or even a glass of fizz!
If you’re lucky enough to get a sunny Autumnal day, you can take this on the terrace and soak up the sunshine too.
Please note, pre-booking is essential, and we recommend booking at least 48 hours prior to make sure these bitesize beauties are prepped to perfection!
