Looking to bring the whole family? We have made some of our beautiful holiday cottages, or nests, as we like to call them, dog friendly too. - Only specified rooms have been furnished for dogs, so all dogs must be declared when booking. We allow up to 2 dogs per room and each dog is charged at £25 per night.
- If one of the dog friendly hotel rooms are damaged or super messy, there will be a charge for cleaning or repair costs at check-out.
- Please be mindful of other guests and keep dogs on a lead at all times whilst in the property.
- Dogs are welcome everywhere in the hotel apart from our brasserie, function spaces and health club area (as much as your pooch might want to test out the pool!).
- Dogs cannot be left unsupervised in the rooms other than for very short periods if you want to eat in the brasserie or visit our health club. Never leave the dog in the room if you intend to leave the hotel premises.
- There will be a dog blanket in your room but we know dogs like their own beds so please bring your dog bed with you.
- Please keep dogs off the beds and soft furnishings.
- Dogs are bound to get muddy paws – in the Lakes this is unavoidable! Your room will have a dog towel but please bring an extra dog towel if your dog is particularly large or likes to get very muddy.
- In order to ensure our other guests have a peaceful stay we have a right to terminate your stay immediately due to any excessive barking or unsociable behaviour.
- Your room will not be serviced whilst a dog is in situ.
- Dog blankets, bowls and towels are for use throughout your stay, please do not take them home with you, they are available to purchase should your dog take a particular liking to them.
- And it goes without saying that you must pick up after your dog. Reception will always have a spare poop bag if you need one!
- Dogs can dine with you in The Swan Inn, but not in the Brasserie – and dogs will not be permitted to be left unattended after 8pm.
