Looking for things to do this Easter Holiday? We've put together a list of things happening in and around the Lake District. Have a gander and make unforgettable family memories...
An Easter Egg Hunt
Staying at the Swan? Join us on Saturday 20th April for our very own Easter egg hunt! (Guests only).
If one hunt isn't enough, the Cadbury Bunny has visited Fell Foot National Trust (just a hop, skip and a jump away from the Swan) and hidden precious choccy treats. Join the hunt to find them on Sunday 21st April 11am - 3pm, just £2.50.
Take on 35 treetop challenges at Treetop Trek, Windermere. With treks for little ones aged 5+, or big ones of any age. Finish with a 250-meter zip wire race, taking in spectacular views across Lake Windermere.
From 30th March - 28th April Lowther Castle is hosting not just an Easter Egg Hunt, but an Easter Dragon Egg Hunt! Take part in the fun and you'll earn a choccy treat if you're successful. If you can't attend during that time, it's worth adding Lowther Castle to your list of places to go anyway. Aside from the impressive castle ruins, it also boasts an epic 'lost castle' adventure playground.
Enjoy an Easter egg hunt in the Peter Rabbit Garden Easter, on Sunday 21st and Monday 22nd April - children’s entry tickets to the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in Bowness include a mini treasure hunt to complete in the garden. Plus, there’s a chocolate egg and sticker to be won for every child!
