"We chose The Swan for our very small wedding and we weren't disappointed! The hotel itself is beautiful with excellent, comfortable facilities set in beautiful surroundings. We were made to feel so special and all our needs were catered to-especially those of our children (aged 9 and 18 months). All staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and efficient in all areas of the hotel from room service to the swimming pool! But a huge thank you in particular to Hanna, Naomi and Tanya who helped with the planning of the wedding and our stay and then looked after us so well and helped make our special day so perfect!"

"Beautiful location on a river and close to Windermere lake. Nice rooms. Swimming pool. Spa. Outdoor, riverside tables for enjoying a drink or a bite to eat. Cozy lounge areas with plush sofas and fireplaces. Friendly bar with several ales on tap. Restaurant has a very nice menu and the food is great. Meeting facilities upstairs are nice. Staff is extremely friendly. Loved the night porter service which means the bar is always open. Definitely coming back for a vacation."

"We had pre ordered food and it was exactly what we wanted, served in a small private room but not too private so we still felt part of what was going on. Our request for vegetarian food was remembered and served on a separate platter (that doesn't always happen) many thanks to Hannah on the events team for her good communication, and organisation. Everything went perfectly."
