We genuinely believe that there’s nowhere to rival us in the Lake District. It’s attention to detail which really makes a successful and memorable wedding. The hotel only ever accepts one booking on any particular day and puts the event in the hands of a dedicated Master of Ceremonies. Great views of the river We completely renovated our function suites in 2007 and our glamorous Ballroom is perfect for your ceremony. If the guests are able to take their eyes off the bride, they can gaze out of the huge Georgian windows overlooking the river and really savour the magic of the location. Wedding breakfasts can be served in our elegant conservatory and evening parties are usually centred around the private bar in The Club Room – complete with Bose sound system and fibre-optic lighting.
